Loriann considers herself a wife and mother first and foremost. She is a Seattle-native and graduate of Seattle University. Prior to joining Local 27, she worked with a forensic psychologist for 3 years, and before that, directed a non-profit, pregnancy center. Currently, she enjoys working one day each week as part of a team that supports what she believes to be a very noble profession. She is proud that her brother is a Port of Seattle firefighter, that her uncle is a firefighter in Kennewick, and that her maternal grandfather was a firefighter. Aside from work, she states that, “I cherish the time I get to spend with my husband and daughter. I am an active member of my faith community. I love to jog, hike, and read books, especially biographies and non-fiction. If you asked me to recommend a good book, I would recommend ‘Left to Tell,’ - and I never turn down an invitation to play a good board game!” |
