NOTICE OF NOMINATON & ELECTION
1st Vice President Election
Seattle Fire Fighters Union, Local 27
International Association of Fire Fighters
Election for one (1) Vice President.
Description of Duties and Compensation:
1st Vice President shall be paid 30% of the top step fire fighter monthly salary per month and serve the remainder of a three year term (over 2 years), may be appointed to perform the duties of the President in the President's absence, and shall share the following responsibilities with the 2nd Vice President: grievances, disciplines, pension claims, self-insured claims, L&I claims, disability claims, other benefits claims, serve on Editorial Board, delegate to the state and county labor councils, assist the President with the Union's political activity and public statements, serve on the political action committee, build and enhance relationships with the community, and public relations.

Fire Fighter/Paramedic Overtime
32/24 Hour Exemption MOA
Seattle Fire Fighters Union, Local 27
International Association of Fire Fighters
Question to the membership:
Shall Local 27 ratify the proposed tentative agreement known as "Fire Fighter/Paramedic Overtime 32/24 Hour Exemption MOA" that would exempt Fire Fighter/Paramedics from the 32/24 hour OT rule so that special OT for a Fighter/Paramedic will not be used to determine hiring priority; and Fighter/Paramedics would not be selected for regular OT unless there are no Fire Fighters remaining on the regular OT list so that Fighter/ Paramedics will not compete against Fire Fighters for regular OT hiring purposes?
