The most frequently asked questions:

Why are there members with lower seniority listed a head of me on the vacation grid?

Members (even junior members) are guarenteed the ability to cancel a contract shift with a Vacation day.  This results in a reduction of an available vacation slot on that day and the used slot is then assigned to the member who canceled the contract shift.

Why are more total scheduled vacations than available vacation slots (Tot: 20/18) on some days?

Members are allowed to schedule vacation blocks that include debit days in round 2.  When a member schedules such a block, the debit day does not use the other shift's slot for scheduled vacation purposes.  But it does reduce available Saved Vacation Day/Merit Offs for the other shift by one slot.
