2008 Red Helmet Award


At the January Station Rep Meeting, Local 27 presented the 2008 Red Helmet Award to former Seattle City Council member Peter Steinbrueck. Peter said it was an honor to receive the award and enjoyed working with Seattle Fire Fighters who are so important to Seattle and its citizens.
After the award presentation, Peter tried on fire fighter bunkers, tank, helmet, and breathed air.
