Improvements for the 2008 Health Plan: 

1. Aetna's required use of a sub-network of specialists was removed. Members can now use any preferred specialist and still receive the highest level of benefit.
2. VSP's previous contact lens benefit was $150 and included the cost of the exam within that maximum.  After the cost of the exam there was usually only a small amount of benefit left to cover the cost of the contacts.  Under the new contract, the exam is covered with a copay and there is a $120 allowance for contact lenses.
3. Delta Dental's annual maximum for each covered person was raised to $2,000.
4. Group Health added coverage for sterilization.

5. The Aetna plan now provides Coordination of Benefits
