Recruit Class 95 Drill School Ends |

| The largest Inj/Ill number in the dept. is now 2168. |

| Recruit Class 95 finished drill school on May 9th and is now out in the companies. Only 14 of the original 24 made it through our demanding drill school. Local 27 VP, the Fire Chief and other officers addressed the Recruit Firefighters congratulating them on completing drill school but reminding them of the hard work yet ahead in their probationary year. |

| All the recruits attended a Union Orientation at the Union Hall on April 26. The new members were sworn in after explanation of the Union's history, what the Union does and how it works, and what responsibilities the members have. |
