The Whole Nine Yards

A guiding Principle of Local 27 is to ensure that our members retire "healthy and wealthy".  Over the years, our Union has been successful in improving health and safety for fire fighters, most recently by attaining  4-person staffing.  We are now also exploring Self-Insured Medical Coverage and an Occupational Health Program.  In addition, Local 27 has repeatedly negotiated outstanding contracts that provide fair compensation and better benefits.
