Seattle Fire Department Exports COVID-19 Testing Model to Pasco, WA and Beyond

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic Seattle quickly developed a high capacity testing model that is currently performing up to 5,000 tests per day in Seattle. Seattle-based “The Health Commons Project,” helped Pasco set up its own testing program based on the Seattle model.

Lt. Brian Wallace visited Pasco on their opening day where they tested 78 people. Seattle’s testing program is the model the Health Commons Project is exporting and the Washington State Department of Health is recognizing as the template for high capacity testing in the state of Washington.
