Dear Members,
We’re thrilled to share that starting January 1, 2024, Dr. Marcie Hamrick will take the helm at Station 2 Clinic, marking another positive turning point for SFFHCT. This carefully planned transition promises significant enhancements to our AFFME, Injury Prevention and Behavioral Health programs.
Please note that we ask for your patience while this transition is happening as there may be a small disruption in service. During the clinic set-up and training time from mid-Dec to early Jan, it is likely that calls will go to voicemail. For anything time sensitive, please leave a voicemail and someone will get back to you within 48 hrs. If it’s not time sensitive, please leave a non urgent message or call back after 1/8/24.
Here are some key points to keep in mind:
- Continuity of Contact: The Clinic will maintain the same phone number, ensuring a seamless transition for communication. Much of the existing staff will also remain in place to continue providing you with the high-quality care you deserve.
- Temporary Closure: In early January, the Clinic will temporarily close its doors. During this period, Dr. Hamrick and her staff will undergo training on new records systems and exam protocols, ensuring that they are fully equipped to enhance your healthcare experience.
- Return to Normal Operations: Operations resume with a soft opening on January 8, and a back to normal date of January 15th, 2024.
In the coming weeks, you can expect more detailed information on:
- New Medical Records System: We will provide insights into the upgraded records system that will streamline and improve your medical information management.
- Online Appointment Scheduling: A convenient online appointment system will be introduced, making it easier for you to access the care you need.
- Enhanced Exam Structure: Dr. Hamrick aims to implement enhancements to the current exam structure, ensuring a more comprehensive and tailored healthcare experience.
- New Clinic Website: Stay tuned for the launch of the new Station 2 Clinic website, offering valuable resources and information at your fingertips.
We appreciate your understanding during this transition period. The SFFHCT Trustees are committed to ensuring that these changes contribute to an even better healthcare experience for you.
Thank you for your continued trust and membership.
Sincerely,
Your SFFHCT Trustees
